Fall Song 04:59
And the trees they start to sway again As the wind it wraps around my head And the leaves they swirl up in the air And all things they start to come to an end But it won't end my life Maybe find a way off This rock, this place Sometimes I wanna stay on Sometimes, I think again Yuletide is alright And Fall, I'd miss my friend I'm barely alright But here still I stand Cause it won't end my life No it won't end my life Unless I say fuck it all And the trees they start to fall And the land it claims them all Soon the storms they will set it And this poem.. will then.. end But it won't end my life

Yeah, yeah! Ain't it cruel The way the world will go for a trillion sorry souls Yeah that's been the rule And don't I know Off of my doorstep Lily on patrol And then it ends on cue A devilish game living not in pain Until you do Fair thee well It's no secret we're all trying Fair thee well Though we'll probly all end in Hell Fair thee well It's no use if we're not trying Yeah fair thee well Though we'll surely all burn in Hell Well in this world What're we to do with the dregs in front of you Broken crazy fools Yeah we know How they get by and how their stories are told So what're we to do? She offered her name He's got nothing to say Just a burning hate All the pain, all the shame, all the rage Working late, minus praise, emasculate Not the one working on cashing out Awful date, she's in shape And all that she can do is run! Ooh ain't it cruel How time stands still When bad things happen to you Worse is making backwards moves And we all fall down... Yeah fair thee well Try not to end up cryin' Yeah fair thee well Try not to burn in Hell Oh fair thee well It's no secret we're all trying Yeah fair thee well Cause we'll surely all burn in Hell Yeah yeah! Fair thee well!

You are all I want to keep All among the burning sheep Sycophantic symmetry When all you want is to get some sleep When miracles are kept at bay But she knows just what to say With nothing good on the way Every night and every day But it turned away Can't count on this to stay And all that trash I hear, I can't take When I got no time left for me to even spare When it comes down to doing nothing that even gets me there And I want to be a god among the tramps Give me a time, give me a place Give me a reason, and an escape As long as it's not too far away Oh, from you And what is true Oh, and the things that do Yeah, get ya through Every night and every single day So you don't turn away Maybe good thoughts are engaged So hard to set that stage When I got no time left for me to even spare When it comes down to doing nothing that even gets me there And I want to be a god among the tramps And we've got no time left for us to even spare When it comes down to doing something that even gets us there And we need to make it out alive together Though I got to be a god among the tramps All is war in love and success All is war in life and excess All is war in lies and in promise All is war in everything, but you

Walk on By 05:26
Sleuth, heavy on the reign Proof, heavy on the pain In truth, it's not meant to be true All the time went by Living in a dream, of you Oh, those seconds fly... When you Walk on by And it always hurts
5.
The Smoke 06:35
The smoke is born From all those things you've done The smoke is born In the woods From all those things that are good And all you can do is just know that it's with you... Run When you run... The dark comes and goes Just one of those things The smoke is rising up to become all things ire You overcome when you put out that fire But know it can't be won No you can't win at all Breathe in that smoke Breath in that smoke... and it's won Yeah! Burn! (burning that fire... smoke rising higher...)
6.
Self War 04:11
Why'd you become so abated? One more loss, count it Why can't you be more elated? About more than one thing You cannot be the one that I see Staring back through a glass wall at me Reflecting vast and an obvious despondency And it can't be separated From having just one more drink... When all your actions are better medicated Oh, no, when all your actions are better medicated And you soar and don't know what it means to be satiated Oh, no no, when all your actions are better medicated You war with yourself now You war with yourself You war with yourself now And of all these things you'd wanna see burning in effigy You can't erase your mind now, can ya? So you war with yourself now You war with yourself And it brings you down, brings you down, brings you down, brings you down Why can't you be less related? With why I've gone away

I wanted to be a pilot I wanted to soar unchained All those fighters in the Navy All those carriers on the sea All those airstrips they all called me All those clouds they screamed my name Altitude, radar and banking Lift and yaw and Gs But every time I turn on the TV Someone's dying on a plane Crashing on a plane So why get on a plane? What are your chances today? Why get on a plane? I cannot control the weather I get sick in the passenger seat But with those flaps and landing gear I can control my destiny But why die on a plane? Why wreck on a plane? Why burn on a plane? Why get on a plane? Cause every time I turn on the TV Someone's dying on a plane Crashing on a plane So why get on a plane?? What are your chances any day? Why get on a plane? (Something bad comes this way) Why get on a plane? (Why do anything?) Why get on a plane? (Something wrong comes this way) Why get on a plane? (Why do anything?) Why get on a plane?

Crazy Not what you'd think When you see me Maybe it's what I've seen Lifelong conditioning Sometimes all it takes is a child To make the perfect weapon Before you send them out in the wild Make sure you show them what's there to kill them My promise to everyone Is showing what can be done with a lack of reason My promise to everyone Is showing what can be done with a lack of reason Lets get this done! Lets get this done! Crazy is what you'd see When you see me Yeah maybe, it's not that succinct Like anything is ever that easy Yeah crazy I'd have to be To do this thing

Saltshaker shaking on the table Shadows are dancing on the wall I wouldn't be here if I was able Feeling so big and yet so small You wouldn't know it if I didn't say it I feel I'm pretty good at that now Beat myself over the head to change it Reaching for that burning door knob to head out When the sun's shining down you face it A choir of bells the birds ring out Going through more than just the paces A truncated feeling of being proud Then a punch to the gut Familiar equations playing out A calculated risk Worth taking, worth shaking doubt Shaking like a leaf, a popular motif In no one's, no one's style Then I smile in awe of the child inside who can't wait for next time But till then Give me the time to stow away Give me the time to build the frame Loosen it up enough to fit all these faces A little bit goes a long way A little bit goes a long way Remember what momma said Baby, get out of bed Dreamers are only dead Long after the dream ends Anxious for anxiety to take hold Ooh, gotta find my vice to cope Keeps me from all the vanity Keeps me from all the hateful souls Keeps me from our reality Keeps me from being, feeling whole But I don't need it! Except to leave my home... Who's gonna drive me home?.. (It's a long way through the soul) We aren't all the vanity We aren't all the hopeless souls When I come out on this side clean Only one thing I need to know To give me the time to stow away Give me the time to build the frame Loosen it up enough to fit all these faces A little bit goes a long way Give me some time to stow away Give me the time to build the stage Filling it up enough to get all these faces A little bit goes a long way A little bit goes a long way A punch to the gut, a punch to the gut Knocks you down, get back up A punch to the gut, a punch to the gut Knocks you down, get back up A punch to the gut, a punch to the gut Yeah... A punch to the gut, a punch to the gut... Yeah...

Stay awake Till this time tomorrow Born in the States Where self righteous runs hollow And it's all that you waste Time spent idle Long after you leave All of us, we're still here One sided lean Turning both shallow And you rue the day Opinion becomes fact no debate Meanwhile all that you take Well tell me who's that to pay? And all that you can change So who's that Serving? Burning? Turning? Hurting? Remember a time of American shame "Winners" and "losers" on the same damn team Coaching with platitudes, more of the same And a straw-man on fire He's burning, burning Yeah! So when you sleep, yeah Tell me, what dreams do you see? Longing to breathe, yeah Like so, so many out in the streets Or is it easy? In a long, long life of pandering Oh in a time Of failing health, wealth, love and faith Remember All that you waste We're still here All that you erase We're still here All that you change We're still here Long after you leave We're all still here

about

After the first studio release by 5 Watts, the band slowly drifted apart and went inactive, leaving just one member left - lead singer/songwriter Casey Brown. Not content with a life without a creative outlet, Casey decided to carry on alone to keep the band name and motto alive - making music for the love of it. Over time in between the daily tasks of a day job, he created a track list to represent the daily struggles that everybody will likely one day face from a world hell bent on making sure they do. Highlights include "Lily on Patrol", a rock jam infused with a poppy melody that sings about keeping yourself safe in a world full of debauchery and tragedy, and "We're Still Here", a plea to the powers that be to not forget about the rest of us.

"I always had a penchant for making music, ever since I picked up my brother's guitar as a kid.. strumming open strings not knowing what I was doing. Once I figured some of it out, I realized I preferred making my own songs over learning other's, and from there blossomed a lifelong goal to write songs, figure out how to record them, then get them out there for anyone that might stumble upon them.. Whether or not anyone hears them, or if I ever leave my day job, doesn't really matter as long as they exist. I hope you enjoy." - CB
